Kevin RogersMy name is Kevin Rogers I have been fishing crappie tournaments with my father, Charlie Rogers for 18 years. I have lived in Peculiar, MO my whole life; Peculiar is far enough out to be considered living in the country but I can easily be in downtown Kansas City within 45 minutes. I’m married with four children (and without a wonderful wife I wouldn’t be able to fish as much as I do, thank you Caitlin). To date my father and I have won crappie tournaments in 5 different states and qualified for the Classic 15 times. Truman Lake is considered our home Lake where we have racked up twenty two 1st place finishes in our career. We fish the Crappie Masters Tournament Trail where we have also won three major tournaments including the very first, One Pole Ultimate Challenge in 2008 and twelve top ten finishes. I am currently sponsored by Gene Larew, Bobby Garland, Outlaw Crappie Poles, KeelGuard, Hamby’s and Midwest Marine.

DadAttached is the first tournament crappie (Crappie weighing more than one pound) we caught out of the MossBack FishRack, the fish was caught by my father Charlie Rogers. The MossBack FishRack was set on the bottom of Truman Lake in 12’ of water on Friday, June 18th, this crappie was caught only two days later, wow! We caught a total of six crappie out of this one Fish Rack. It’s pretty amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it! Being a tournament angler I’m always looking for an edge, and I have tried every PVC attractor on the market and the MossBack Fish Rack is the simplest to use by far; no glue and no mess. The deck of my boat appreciates that!
